Tomb Raider developer Crystal Dynamics has declared that it's set to reveal a brand new IP this year, meaning the studio will be marking its 20th anniversary with the launch of two games.
The announcement comes via a post on the Square Enix Members EU blog, wherein CD's Community Manager, Meagan Marie revealed that the unveiling of the studio's new IP will form part of a big 2012 ahead, with its Tomb Raider reboot leading the charge.
“The New Year ushers in more than just fresh calendars and renewed resolutions. 2012 will prove to be a very exciting year for Crystal Dynamics, more so than any in recent memory,” Marie stated. “Not only will our team be eating, sleeping, and breathing Tomb Raider, but we’ll also be hard at work preparing to reveal exciting new intellectual property to the world.”
Looks like we'll just have to wait and see what Crystal Dynamics has up its sleeve for this proposed new IP, so for now we'll remain excited about the forthcoming Tomb Raider reboot.
